Chipley Florida Pit Bulls need help

Hi I am Joyce Ball in Jacksonville Florida and I volunteer for a transport group taking pets from a small rural high kill shelter in Chipley Florida. I was just informed by the manager they have about 30 pitbulls that where confiscated from an neglect situation west of Tallahassee. They are not fighting dogs, it was a breeder who by reports was responsible at one time but fell on hard economic times. The dogs where kept on chains in the yard and are underweight but appear friendly with people and so far most are not dog aggressive. We are reaching out to rescues in the area for help with networking to find placement for these dogs when the legal case is over. Inbreeding - Is it ok?

I am starting a kennel (small) and I was wondering what anyone thinks about inbreeding. I don't know enough about the subject to have an opinion. But, I would be interested in yours. What I was wanting to breed is this. I have a male who I love his traits and I bred him to our 2 females (no relation). They each had a litter and our one female only had 1 puppy. Don't know why only 1 but maybe bc she is older (6 years) but our other female had a litter of 12. We decided to keep the 1 male that our female had but am thinking about saving a female pup out of our big litter. Both of these pups look perfect and I was thinking about breeding them, but they both have the same dad. Different moms but same dad. Do people do this?? And is it ok? Or, is it considered too much inbreeding or what?? Help, anyone.

i think i found my calling in life. pit bulls. i own one and i love her so much and would love to make her into a service dog to help me work with others. i love all dogs and i am very good with them. I can conect with them in such a was that works for me and i can use my gift ro help powerful breed dogs and there owners keeping the dogs balanced, loyal and dependable. i am looking for dogs that need help and need time spent with them. i am in the south florida area and would love to help others.
